Love me some Kate Upton

Upton's controversial curves

An article appeared on yahoo "Beauty on Shine" a while back with the headline "Kate Upton Defends Her Curves."

The "Kate" they were referring to was Kate Upton - you know, the gorgeous va-va-voom Sports Illustrated model that looks more like the healthier models of the 80's and 90's (when models talked about eating and exercising but would be considered "big" by today's standards. Cindy Crawford is one of them.)

One blogger, who calls herself Skinny Gurl and posts on her gwad-awlful site - SkinnyGossip - compared Upton to a cow, describing the sexy model as: "Huge thighs, NO waist, big fat floppy boobs, terrible body definition--she looks like a squishy brick."
But she's 5'11" and her measurements are 36'-25'-34'. I would LOVE to have these measurements. They are perfection and she is so incredibly beautiful. So why does she have to defend anything? She needs to ignore the haters and keep doing what she's doing - which is so right!

I think it's very important for all of us to throw support her way whenever possible. If she's in a magazine, write a letter to the editor congratulating them for using someone who doesn't look like she's starving to death. Perhaps then that magazine might make it common place to utilize models who look healthier.

Maybe then the curvy 80's and 90's model look will return... we can all hope, right?
